There is a big festival every June 17th at Daigan Temple, where the Itsukushima Benzaiten (statue) is worshipped.
The Itsukushima Benzaiten is one of the three major Benzaiten in Japan. The other two are the Enoshima Benzaiten, and the Takeoshima Benzaiten.
